This WebQuest was created as a course requirement for IT 724 WebQuests for Educators at Emporia State University. 

The original idea was based on a state social studies standard that doesn't always get the best time devoted to it.

After searching the Internet for similar ideas I found a Website for Mr. Brown's class.  I wish to thank Mr. Brown for the links he had for famous Kansan's.   I used some of the links he has for his class site for this WebQuest. 

The clip art is from School Clip Art for Teachers and Kids and Discovery School Clip Art.

Alicia Cook
I am a 4th grade teacher at Hillsdale Elementary School. I enjoy my job and am currently working on a master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Emporia State University.
