Teacher Process
In your role as a learner during this workshop, you'll follow the Learner Process section on the Student page. As you develop your WebQuest for students, keep in mind the following:
1. the concept to be learned
2. the standard(s) to which it correlates
3. the overall design or approach of your WebQuest
4. the type of Web 2.0 project students are expected to produce as a form of alternative assessment
5. Will individual or group projects be allowed? If the latter, will you implement team contracts?
6. How much time will you allocate? Three or four 90 minute class periods will likely be insufficient!
7. The student project method of assessment: Perhaps a rubric? If so, customize the wording. Don't use stock verbiage in templates from those available at sources such as Rubistar. Descriptors are to be observable and quantifiable.
