Teacher Process

Students were initially taught with models about fractions, decimals, mixed numbers, and improper fractions.

 

Students were then grouped into triads to complete the webquest. The graphic organizer for the reflection piece during the research process was provided for them in a hard copy.

Students then chose the way to transfer their knowledge to real life application.

Presentations were made in class. Reflections were given by peers, and then each group brainstormed plus/delta for their project.

After the scaffolding, students then wrote individual evaluations on their process both individually and as a group learning time.
