Students will be retaught improper fractions, and will practice for clarification until completely understood. Groups of three will then create a real-life situation to demonstrate how improper fractions are used.
Introduction
Many students wonder how much of the math we learn today will really be used in our future. This is a fun way to fully understand a difficult concept: Improper Fractions, and to see right away how we will use what we know in the world around us.
