Task
You are going to plan a tour for your entire class to participate in. Be careful to consider the interests and wishes of your classmates. You will want to arrive in Jefferson City between 8:00am and 9:00am to start your day of touring and siteseeing. Be sure to include time for lunch on the Capitol grounds.
Plan at least two travel stops along the way for a snack or restroom break. Use a Missouri State Highway Map to locate points of interest along the travel route which would be well-timed travel stops and also provide additional opportunities to learn about Missouri.
You only have one day to spend traveling and touring, and you must get home in time so that everyone can rest up and be on-time for school the next day. Plan well so you'll enjoy your trip.
Once you're done planning, prepare an itinerary and a powerpoint presentation. You will present this in front of your class and provide a written report for each of your classmates to review. Your goal is to convince the rest of the class to choose your travel plan.
