You will need to research all of the possibilities and decide which sites you would like to see.  Find out what others in your class or tour group would like to do and make a record of each person's top four choices.  This is important because you will want to make sure that others enjoy the trip as well.

Begin by determining where the sites are in relation to each other.  Find out what the hours of operation are and how many students can go on a tour at one time.  You will also want to know how long each tour will take to complete.

Next you will want to map out your travel route using the Missouri Highway Map provided.  Look closely for State Parks or Historical Sites which could serve as travel stops along the way.  Calculate the distance using the mileage markers on the map.  You can learn more about these in the map's key.  Using the mileage, calcuate the time needed to travel, assuming you will travel on a bus at 60 miles per hour.

Make sure you leave enough time for your travel stops and still arrive on time.  Once completed, highlight your travel route on the Missouri State Highway Map and save it for your presentation to the rest of your class.

Use Microsoft Word or Excel to prepare a travel itinerary complete with departure and arrival times.

Now you will prepare a presentation using Microsoft Powerpoint which you will deliver in person to your classmates.  You should include weblinks, pictures and descriptions of all sites and what one might expect to learn.  Also prepare a written report which can be handed out while you are delivering the presentation.  Be sure to make it as interesting as possible since you are trying to get the rest of the class to choose your ideas.
