IB seniors can't afford to catch senioritis as they face their final IB exams in May. By the time they're preparing for the English Language A1 Paper 2, they are overwhelmed by their work load and the fear of those exams. They know where they're going to college, but for many their acceptance is contingent upon the IB scores they have yet to earn. The exams are the culmination of four years' work. Although the pressure is high, they have never in their lives been so learned, skilled, and driven as they are in these final weeks. I hope this assignment provides them with the swiftest and most sophisticated means to achieve the high level of understanding and the practice in critical thinking they require.
