This webquest allows the students to research aspects revolving around the Civil War as well as how to effectively compile it into a museum structure.

Teacher Introduction

As history teachers, we all know that every event and every date has significance. As United States history teachers, we know that the Civil War was a time that the foundation of this nation was in question. Students need to understand that this country almost fell apart at one point and that the struggle to keep it together ended in war.

Not only do students need to discover history, but they also must learn the research process and how to work in a collaborative setting, as well as the importance of historical museums.

This project does just that!
