Teacher Process

Before teaching the students the technical part of this project, which is learning how to produce acrylic paintings . The students need to learn  to associate different colors to different sets of emotions and moods.

- Students have to analyse Kandinsky's work and they have to express what they feel when they are looking at his paintings.

-They have to associate their words to color and paint them on a canvas.

-They should have the chance and the time to experiment with different textures and colors.

- Finally they should draw different  geometric shapes and lines to adresse a specific and personal message.

Students need to have guidelines but flexible deadlines, teachers should always keep in mind that each student has to complete his own work with its own pace.

Teachers should also encourage students to comment on their peers' works since that would help them discover different perspectives.

Teachers should have prior knowledge of abstract painting techniques and of Kandinsky's work.
