STEP 1: Get record/data sheets from your teacher

STEP 4: Click on the continent links below and choose two native animals from each continent.
STEP 5: Record Data for each animal you choose: habitat, food source, carnivore, omnivore, herbivore (on the data sheets).

STEP 6: Work as a group to design a Safari Guide that you will present to the class. Each group member should have their own Safari Guide.
Your Safari Guide must include:
1. a cover
2. a data sheet for each animal
3. a picture or drawing of each animal (this may be printed from a website and colored or you can draw the animal yourself). You may click the link below to find and print a picture of you animal(s):
4. any fun facts or other information that you and your group decide the class would be interested in.
STEP 7: Present your research findings to the class by presenting your Safari Guides and answering any questions from your classmates.

Your presentation should include:
1. which continent each animal came from
2. each animal's habitat
3. each animal's food source
4. whether each animal is a carnivore, omnivore or herbivore and what that means
5. a color drawing or picture of each animal
6. any fun facts or other information you collected
7. answering questions from your classmates
