Learners
This WebQuest was designed with fourth graders in mind, although many parts of it could be applicable for students in grades K-6. The WebQuest's curricular focus is mathematics, health and wellness. These activities could be used as part of a measurement lesson, a healthy eating lesson, as well as in life skills programs.
There are a variety of learning styles being addressed in this WebQuest, including logical, spatial, and inter/intra personal. It is important to reach every learner in the class, especially those types of learners that need extra stimulation and creativity to learn the content. This particular WebQuest will affect "Concrete Sequential" (Butler, 1986) learners and indirectly "Concrete Random" learners as well. These groups will be supported through the use of trial and error as well as computer based learning, and will aim to reach all learners.
