This WebQuest is adaptable to different circumstances -- depending on the availability of technology, computer labs, etc. It is an assignment that can be done during class time or assigned as a take-home activity. If done in class, the entire assignment -- research and final project -- would be expected to take 5-7 class days. If all research is to be done outside of class, the assignment would take 10 class days.

The Web sites listed are extensive but specific enough so that students won't have trouble finding what they need for the assignment. And because the assignment is divided into groups for the research section, the writing section of the assignment is what will take the most time.
