Teacher Process
This project should take approximately five days of 50 minute classes to complete in order to have the students to choose their group members, roles, research the characters and rewrite the actual progress report.
Step One: Selecting groups members and selecting which character to research
Step Two: Have the students research the character's life such as employment, hobbies and role in the story
Step Three: Have the students select which progress reports to rewrite and have the students rewrite four of them.
Day One: Introduce the project to the class and have the students begin step one
Day Two: Complete step one and begin step two with the students. This portion of the project should be completed in the school's computer lab, if not this can be completed in the school's library.
Day Three: Continue with step two
Day Four: Students should have completed step two and should be moving to step three in which they select the progress reports.
Day Five: The students are to finish step three by the end of this class period.
