This project is designed for first semester eleventh graders, but may be adapted for any level. This project is designed to be a final project for students to assess not only comprehension and understanding, but also to create a sense of community teamwork, involvement and committment at a higher level. Most students have some familiarity with powerpoint, but it is a good idea to review before beginning this webquest.
Students should work in groups of no more than three if possible. Give the students one week to think about and choose authors and topics they wish to cover. Students should then plan to work as a team and complete this project in about seven more days. Students should have necessary grammar skills to write effectively and presentably as well as persuasively and in an entertaining manner. Students should have ample time to work on this project to gain full appreciation and understanding of the authors they chose.
