Teacher Process
First, this WebQuest has been designed for a classroom of 20 students covering 18 Virginia Standards of Learning. Adjustments can me made to fit your classroom as necessary.
Each Team should only have access to one computer, because of the way I have set up the team roles. Remind students that they must play each role at least once.
When choosing which students will be in a Team together, it is important to have students who are at academically different levels to work together, so that every student can benefit from this assignment.
While your students are working on their WebQuest, make sure they are on-task and that they are writing good test questions. You should make suggestions throughout the assignment so that by the time you students turn in their Final Draft, the test questions should require little to no alteration to be correct.
After you have received all of the Teams' test questions, compile them into a fun review lesson, such as a game. This part of the process is KEY to the completion of the assessment, because every Team needs the opportunity to review all of the Algebra I Standards.
