You will be designing a summer vacation for your family to go on. You will be responsible for the whole trip. Using web tools such as google maps, waymark, and google earth, you will map out the whole trip.
Teacher Introduction
This is a great lesson to introduce many web programs, as well as simple math reasoning and calculations. You need to be fairly competent with using google maps, so learn and get an account. It's very easy. Your students will love planning their own trip and mapping out exactly where they want to go. It also gets them involved with gas prices and how much gas truely costs!
