Task
In this lesson you will read and listen to personal essays by famous and ordinary people discussing something they believe strongly in. Afterwards, you and your group members will make a poster that will describe a strong belief that you all share.
Your group is going to choose a personal essay from this website that relates to your belief. You will read and listen to the essay and find out what the author believes, why they believe it, and whether they agree or disagree with you and your group.
Finally, your group will work together to form questions about the essay that we will use for a class discussion.
