What if a loud knocking came to your door in the middle of the night. Men in masks took you away and held you in a secret location. You didn't know where you were, what you did and you had no attorney. You couldn't even see your family. You're thinking you're in a country without the freedoms we have in America, right? Could this happen to a citizen of the United States? If so, is it justified?
Let us learn about how our branches of government affect our civil liberties. We will first learn what the branches are, their purpose and the powers they hold. We will then understand how these powers reinforce or dissolve our civil liberties.
