Teacher Process
It is possible for this WebQuest to be completed in two to three class days. (I teach in one hour mods; therefore, each "day" to me is one hour in length.) Students can brainstorm and complete Step #1 for homework. Steps #2-4 should be completed in class and may take up to three days. Step #2 (research) may be completed in the library/ computer lab in one day or less. Step #3 (creation of the PowerPoint presentation) may be completed in one to two days. Step #4 (actual presentations) and Step #5 (completing mind map) should only take one class period. Step #6 (essay) may be completed at home.
