This webquest is geared for fourth graders learning the Utah science core curriculum, Standard 5 (Utah Biomes, Plants and Animals)

Teacher Introduction

One of the biggest areas tested on Utah science core CRTs relates to biomes. Biomes covers a lot of information. Therefore, I wanted to create a webquest that would get the children using higher order thinking skills, as well as get them interested in the topic. They also practice research skills and make presentations, so the information sinks deeper into their brain for later recall.
