Teacher Process

Plan at least two weeks for this WebQuest as students build background and create their brochures.  The students will need some prior experience with Paint, Microsoft Publisher, or Microsoft Word.  Of course there needs to be time for the students' to share their final projects.  If computer time is limited or you run into technical difficulties, there are many picture books and a dvd series listed in the Resources section that can be used to build the students' background knowledge.  Flags, mascots, and brochures can all be created on paper if computer resources are limited.
