Task

You will create three diary entries written from the perspective of a Northerner, Southerner, or a slave during the Civil War.  The Civil War lasted from 1861-1865.  Each entry will take place at different times during the Civil War (just before the Civil War, in the middle and at the very end of the war).  You will research the information with your group but you will be writing your own entries based on the information that you have gathered during your research.  Each diary entry will be at least two paragraphs long and will include facts about leaders of the time and events that have occurred.
