Teacher Introduction
This webquest is intended to help the students learn about the Civil War leaders and a few events during the war. It is not meant to teach about the many battles fought during the war. The students are given roles during the webquest to make them think about how it might have felt to be a person participating in the war. I wanted my students to internalize some of the conflict of opinions and views of leaders so they could better understand why the nation was at war.
