Teacher Process
In this group project, students will search the internet for information about different countries and their language programs. At the end of this process, they will present their findings in class and come up with a brochure about the country they choose and include information about:
- a language school of their choice (why did they choose this school/advantages/courses offered/prices/accommodation)
- the cultural highlights of the country of their choice (politics/education system/tourist attractions/climate)
They will work in groups of three:
Student A: Is responsible for the part about the language school of your choice.
Student B: Is responsible for the part about the cultural aspects of the country of your choice.
Student C: Is responsible for the pictures (with captions), the charts (e.g. climate) and the layout.
The brochure is neatly typed (watch spelling/avoid fancy font) and includes at least three pictures. There is a bibliography (e.g. interresting sites) and the whole project with all findings/information is shared with the class.
This project will take between three and four weeks. The students will have to work on it after school. However, students should also have the opportunity to work on their project in class.
