This lesson is designed to be utilized in grades 7-12 in a variety of subject areas.

This webquest can be used flexibly as a pre-reading activity or a culminating project for any novel involving the themes of utopia, community, government, or commerce.  For example, it has been used with Lord of the Flies, The Giver, Animal Farm, and Romantic literature and history.
