Extension Activity:

Bring the scientific method into the paper aiplane flying contest.  Make students carefully measure the mass and size of their plane.  Students should do repeated tests, and record each flight distance.  The mean flight distance should be found for each plane.  Have students analyze results to conclude what factors contributed to the winning aiplane design.
