Your design group is competing in a design contest.  This is a competition to see who can use the best resources for the design of an environmentally friendly house.  Your classmates, teacher, and members of the Architecture/Engineering fields will be the judges of  your projects.

Your group’s task will be to research how to build an eco-friendly house.  A great deal of planning and research goes into the design of a home.  I would like you to concentrate on the following questions.  What materials will you use during construction?  What energy sources will be needed?  What appliances are most efficient?  And what finishes will be used throughout the house?  Briefly compare those with the conventional ways of constructing a home.  Your group  will choose one of 3 ways to present your Project.  You can choose either to present it with:
