Learners
The learners for this lesson are fifth graders. Ideally, this webquest would be best suited for students who have background about the Holocaust either by having read, Hidden Child of the Holocaust, by Stacy Cretzmeyer or something like the Diary of Ann Frank, by Anne Frank. These are just two books written about the subject for this age group, but there are many more. The idea is to personalize the experience for the students by having them write the biographical pieces for the diaries. I would recommend students working on this during their language arts and art blocks since the finished product will be displayed in a "museum".
