Teacher Introduction

This webquest was created to meet the Curriculum Framework Grade Level Expectations for 4th Grade Social Studies in the Edmonds School District.  It is aligned with the "Washington Trucker" anchor task as well as meeting several "Critical Elements."  

 We will be looking at the regions of Washington State.  Students will work collaboratively to learn about the features of different regions, share what they have learned with the class, and demonstrate understanding with a travel journal, maps and a presentation project.  This quest integrates language arts skills with social studies content and allows students to use a variety of technology tools to share their learning.

A lot of time and effort was put into this task, so we hope others will use it as well!
