Task

Congratulations! You have been hired as part of a panel of experts by GreenTech, Inc., an alternative energy company that explores new fuels for the future. GreenTech wants to invest in energy sources that will move us out of the business of fossil fuels. Their company policy statements include a commitment to reducing the effects of global warming and coming up with energy efficient fuels that are sustainable and environmentally sound...all while making money for the company and it's stockholders, of course!

Your task is to evaluate the new generation of biofuels and report back to the company about whether or not they should invest in them. The question you must answer is: Are biofuels a reliable, cost effective, environmentally sound investment for your company? You will want to consider the pros and cons of using this kind of technology. Your report will be in the form of a Power Point that you will present with your team to the board of directors of GreenTech.

You will work in teams of four. Each of you has a specific role to play in your research and presentation. After you complete your specific tasks, you will meet with other experts in your field. Finally, you will report back to your team, where you will discuss your findings and reach a consensus, which will be presented in your Power Point.
