Teacher Process

The duration of this activity will take approximately two week, with 8 1-hour time periods. Students will be assigned to groups of four (or five). Each group will research their assigned part about ancient Greece and ancient China. Each group member is responsible for researching and collecting information on Greece and China to fill out a Venn Diagram. Each group will then proceed to create a PowerPoint or a board presentation, which will be presented to the rest of the class. After all groups have presented, students will write a one-page letter to the Greek government explaining why they want to keep or change Greek civilization.

Food tasting from each cuisine will be part of the student assessments.
