Teacher Process
This is a flexible WebQuest, designed to fit the needs of multiple levels of education. The quest should be given at least two 45-50 minutes class periods to allow the best possible experience.
The amount of information as well as the importance of the subject could allow teachers to add to this minimum requirement with mini-lessons, supplemental readings, and news articles.
During the first time period students should be introduced to the levity of the subject. Do not give too much information away though since it is their task to find information on the web and decide the most relevant for their reports. After assigning groups (I have listed three roles mandating three group members but this too could be played with) the teacher should step back and allow the students to dive into the material. It is important to brief them on a report format prior to allowing assigning tasks. Differing levels and ages will require differing approaches.
