Although this WebQuest is designed for sixth graders in New Mexico, it could feasibly be used in any state that is aligned with the NCTM standards. Additionally, although I would plan to use it once at the beginning of the year, breaking the students into groups for each concept, it could also be used for just one concept at a time.

In addition to the Web materials provided in the Quest, you may want to allow students to use their math textbook or other resources to add ideas to the graphic organizer.

The only thing you need is Web access for seven collaborative groups, and PowerPoint, Inspiration, or a similar multimedia design tool, and a free subscription to Teacher Tube.
