Process

 

1. Use the Habitat Web Links page to learn about all of the different types of animal habitats.  Take notes about each habitat.

2. Choose your favorite animal habitat and do additional research to become an expert.

 

 



 

3.  Draw a picture of your rare animals, or go to www.switchzoo.com to create your animals.  If you use switchzoo you can print a picture of your animal.

4. Use the Internet Zoo Web Links page to tour some zoos online and get ideas for the habitat you will be creating.

5. Plan, create and design your special animal habitat exhibit for your rare animals.

6.  Make a class display or your animals and their exhibit.  Give detailed explanations of the animals' characteristics and adaptations to their environment.

7.  Include plenty of explanations of the different parts of the exhibit. 

8. Watch Video’s on different types of Biomes.
