Process

First, Choose a math concept, from the following list, that you would like help others review.

Geometry            Addition & Subtraction            Fractions         Data & Probability

Decimals            Multiplication & Division        Measurement

Explore the following websites to find examples of the math problems you are going to work with. Look for hints and helps that you can share with your classmates.

Secondly, decide who will be each specialist for your project.

 1. Curriculum Specialist: Find and/or write 8 to 10 problems for the powerpoint.  You also need to have the correct answers. Make sure you understand the processes needed to solve the problems. You will be the expert in this area for our class (and for next year as well!)

 2. Test Advisor: Your job is to find useful test taking tips and any tricks to avoid.

3. Producer: First make a storyboard with the information that your partners share with you.  Make sure the layout is consistant and you use correct spelling, punctuation, etc. Then use your storyboard to make your project (powerpoint, jeopardy, etc.)

As a group, find out what fourth graders are supposed to know about your topic.

You may talk to your teacher, and/or use one of the websites below.
