This WebQuest is being designed for a high school band class with students grades 9-12. The purpose of this project is to give students background information on the piece "Ave Maria" by Franz Schubert, arr. Ticheli. It is my hope that they will gain an appreciation for why the piece was composed and the context it was composed in, in addition to providing a musical link to other disciplines.
