NOW it is time to CREATE your OWN online NEWS RESOURCE

There are a lot of elements to the news websites you visited such as Sports and Entertainment. However, for your news websites you will need to focus on the specific points you analyzed, authorís purpose, intended audience, and bias.

You will need to decide your intended audience (parents, classmates, the community, etc.) You will also need to brainstorm news articles you want to actually write for this audience.

You will need to write a minimum of 5 articles.  2 of these articles must include quotes from a person or reference to a person.  The articles need to be written in a way that shows some bias towards your audience and shows your purpose.

We will be going to the Media center and work with our Media Specialist to design these websites using geocities.com. As a group make sure to have a rough draft of how you want to present your articles. This may change once you start creating it within geocities.

FINALLY YOU WILL PRESENT YOUR WEBSITE TO THE CLASS
