Step Two
From your five Bio-Sketches, you will now choose one person to research more thoroughly and then highlight that person in your class's Who's Who in the Renaissance magazine.
Now go back to the websites, find the person you've selected to write about for the magazine, and take extensive biography notes on the following:
- Year and place of birth and death
- Places most associated with this person
- What were this person's ideas, achievements, and/or inventions?
- How did these ideas, achievements, and/or inventions draw from Greek and Roman culture?
- Which other Renaissance individuals influenced this person?
- Which Renaissance individuals did this person influence?
- Why did this person make a difference, both during the Renaisssance and today?
Be sure to explain why you chose this person. This would be a good opening paragraph for your biography.
Choose some illustrations that represent the ideas, achievements, and/or inventions of this person from the online links. Cut and paste these into your article.
