Conclusion

Congratulations!

You have completed your WebQuest!

You should now have a better understanding of the author's life and inspiration for writing The Hobbit. You should also have a better idea of what it means to be a hero and understand how anyone can make a difference and change the world. This information will help you comprehend the meaning and significance behind the novel. In other words, you are ready to begin your adventure with Bilbo Baggins! I will assign you your first reading assignment for The Hobbit when we come back to class tomorrow.

Remember: please be sure to prewrite and proofread your journal entries tonight at home. We will be discussing your writing briefly in class tomorrow before you turn it in, but you will not have time to finish or proofread your assignment in class.
