This webquest is intended for use in the 5^th grade.  It is also designed to be used within the social studies classroom.  The lesson will cover the important figures from the 1920’s, known as the “Roaring Twenties”.  This lesson also involves language arts skills, as the students will be required to complete written tasks.  This lesson can easily be adapted to other grades that study the 1920’s. 

Before beginning this lesson, the students will need to have a basic understanding of the events leading up to the 1920’s.  World War I had just ended; therefore, the United States was trying to return to normalcy.  The students will need to understand that the 1920’s was a positive time for the Untied States, where many great accomplishments took place.
