Teacher Introduction
This lesson was developed as a part of the Brenau University's Computer Literacy course.
The lesson deals with changes that took place in America during the 1920's. This decade is commonly known as the Roaring Twenties because many people thought that the country was roaring forward very quickly. The lesson has the students to browse through different fluential individuals of the 1920's within their small groups. Then the students choose one that is interesting to them. Once they have chosen their character, they are to use the websites available to research their individual. The students will use a graphic organizer to summarize their information. After the students have researched their character, they will create a newspaper column for a fictional newspaper. Once all students in their group have written their column, they will share their written pieces with their group.
