Teacher Process

This WebQuest may take from 3- 5 days to complete.  Students will need to have the understanding that Earth is composed of rocks, sand, soil, and water.  They will need to already know how to classify rocks by physical appearances, which will enable them to do the same with soil types.  Students will need to know how to conduct simple scientific investigations while working on a team. The only other item needed is a little dirt!
