This webquest will help students understand the California Gold Rush period. Students will learn about what events led to the Gold Rush, what life was like for miners and their families and the impact the Gold Rush had on California. Students will be looking at web sites that contain diagrams, timelines, descriptions and excerpts from journals to help students learn about the significance of the Gold Rush.
