Learners
The intended learners for this webQuest are 4th or 5th graders. This WebQuest is mainly intended for use in studying history, but will go far beyond that. For example, students will need to do math in determining average temperatures, will need to know current history as well as what's being done by people of these tribes today, will read traditional tales and have to memorize a story to tell to their 1st grade 'buddies' in the oral traditon, as well as understand how their lives and culture has changed since pre-colonial times. All of this information will be then transformed by the students into a magazine that confirms their knowledge and understanding. They will then share their finished product with the rest of the class.
