Sally Focaster is the elderly lady in your town that everybody loves. Sally has just one problem. Everybody in the town thinks that she knows everything about the weather because of her last name. But really Sally does not know much about the weather or different weather disasters. There are two major weather disasters that have occurred in your town before and are likely to occur again. Will you help Sally Forcaster learn more about these two disasters. She is counting on you to help her out!!!
Now you need to form a meterologist team with another student. You and your partner will be assigned a weather disaster to study and become an expert on. One of you will study tornados and the other will study hurricanes. Use the following websites and webpages given to help you learn about your disaster. Attached are also study guide questions to help you search for your information.
