Teacher Process
In order for students to have enough time to do divide up their
jobs, do the research, and write down their information, I would give
them about a week to complete this Webquest. I would probably
introduce it on a Thursday or Friday, give them the weekend to work on
it, then let them work on it in class Monday through Thursday. We
would probably need a good half of the day on Friday to do our
presentations, put decorations up, and have our party. Students
could do this Webquest as an assignment on its own, even if you are not
doing a Great Britain unit. Different Webquests about holidays in
other countries could be made and students could learn about holidays
in many countries instead of just in Great Britain.
