What would happen if you could rewrite history? What would be different in the society that we know today? This is an interesting topic to tackle in a history class. It helps students think of alternative situations that may have impacted the world if history was rewritten.

Teacher Introduction

In life, many people die at such a young age and so much of what they would have had to offer is gone. We always wish we could bring them back some how. It is a shame to realize what impacts they may have had on us if they did not die so young. It would be nice to be able to change history, for the better. How would history be rewritten?

The purpose of this lesson is to make my students realize the importance of these historical figures and what impact they had and could have had in life if they were not taken away from us so soon. I would hope that from this lesson, my students were able to understand how precious live is and every moment on this earth is meaningful. As a human being, everyone has the potential to impact someones life in someways. My intent is that my students gained some kind of knowledge about that.
