Task
To begin this task you should:
1. Tap into the student's prior knowledge concerning letter and sound recognition.
2. Facilitate students with beginning to decode small one syllable words to prove their efficiency or deficiency in the areas of phonics and phonemic awareness.
3.Conduct formal and informal assessments to determine how much instruction is needed.
4. Allow access to supplemental instruction tools such as games, puzzles or computer software in order to continously reinforce the skills that are being taught.
