Process
First, write down your personal definition of what you believe separates the humans from the rest of the animal kingdom.
Secondly, explore these sites to get an overview of the kinds of things that might be in your exhibit. This may lead you to more links about Jane Goodall.

Within your team, develop some rules for selecting the specific items for your exhibit.
- What qualities does something need to have?
- What should you be sure to include because it will interest your audience?
Now, divide up the task of finding objects based on your criteria you developed. You are to distribute the work based on the following job criteria:
- Curator – determine objects that should be acquired for display (including estimated costs of such objects)
- Archivist/Registrar – works with the curator to maintain information regarding when, where, and how an object was obtained as well as determining the necessary insurance for the object
- Educator – develop the educational program to correlate with this
exhibit along with the information that is necessary for the visitors
to understand when looking at the exhibit
- Exhibit Designer/Conservator – create scale drawings to show how the exhibit will be set up and viewed by visitors and determine what environment is necessary to display and preserve the objects obtained by the curator
Decide together as a team on a final set for the exhibit.
Organize the objects in some order that will maximize the impact:
- Simple to complex?
- Geographically?
- By size or age?
- Begin with a
surprising one and intersperse other special objects throughout?
Prepare your virtual exhibit using whatever medium you've chosen. Describe and show your exhibit to your audience. Be sure to consider your audience when developing your educational presentation. Don't forget to include the change of the definition of man has in your exhibit.
