 Along with your Social Studies textbook, these sites should provide you with sufficient information about the civil war.  Do not feel that you are restricted.  You can use other sites or sources for additional information.

 

Step 2:

 

 

 

Gather the information and disuss with your group the information you have obtained.  Organize your ideas for the PowerPoint presentation.  Illustrate and record information on your "Practice PowerPoint" pages.

 

 Step 3:

 

Construct a PowerPoint presentation with 7 - 10 slides.  You must include atleast 3 graphics or pictures in your presentation.  All group members are responsible for presenting an equal share. 

 

The information should be organized, such as sequential or based on importance.  Use the guidelines below when designing your slides:

 

First Slide:  Title and Group Members' Names

 

Slides 2 - ?:  Demonstrate your understanding of your topic

 

Last 2 Slides:  Summarize how your topic influenced Maryland today; and create a Bibliography (a list of resources you used in your research.)  You should include names and authors of all written text as well as the websites you used.
